Spokane Washington Police Arrest Two Teens And Charge Them With Hate Crime After Gay Youth Attacked And Robbed, San Antonio Texas Macy’s Employee Fired For Refusing To Allow Transgender To Use Women’s Dressing Room, Tennis Legend Margaret Court Condemns Same Sex Marriage, Shaun White Naked, Tyler Posey, Eugene Simon

In Washington State, two teenage boys are accused of damaging a Spokane Valley teenager's property because he is gay. Andrey A. Babakov, 17; and Svitoslav A. Liashedko, 16; pleaded not guilty Monday to first-degree burglary, second-degree theft and malicious harassment - a hate crime - for an alleged attack November 6 at an apartment at 13303 E. Mission Ave. The Spokesman Review reports that the teens are accused of breaking into the apartment and stealing an iPod and laptop computer. Svitoslav told deputies they assaulted the victim because he is gay, according to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office. Deputies saw blood inside and outside the victim's home, as well as blood on his face, nose, neck and clothes. The boy told deputies Babakov and Liashedko assaulted him because he got his ears pierced and “no Russian should pierce their ears,” according to court documents. The boys were charged as adults in Spokane County Superior Court. The newspaper does not identify juveniles unless they are charged as adults with serious felonies. Neither suspect is in custody. The trial is scheduled to begin February 27.

An employee at a Macy’s in San Antonio, Texas was fired for not allowing a transgender shopper to use the store’s women’s fitting room, saying doing so would violate her Christian beliefs, according to the Liberty Counsel, a religious advocacy organization that’s helping her fight the store’s policy. The Houston Chronicle reports that a few days after Thanksgiving, Natalie Johnson refused to let a transgender woman, who she described as a man in makeup and woman’s clothes, use the woman’s fitting rooms. An altercation took place between the woman, fellow shoppers, her and her manager, who required she comply with the policy that allows transgender people to use either room, wrote Liberty Counsel. The organization represents people like Johnson who believe they’ve been wrongfully terminated for their religious convictions. A year ago, Macy’s was sued by a transgender employee who alleged she was mistreated, but the department store boasts its LGBT-friendly environment and non-discrimination policies. “Macy’s does not comment on personnel matters,” said Melissa Goff, regional spokeswoman, about the incident at its San Antonio Rivercenter store involving Johnson. “At Macy’s we recognize and appreciate the diversity of our customers and associates.” A conservative Christian organization, Liberty Counsel defines marriage as between a (biological) man and woman. They have characterized the rise of GLBT rights as “a radical agenda… seriously out of touch with mainstream American values.” “Macy’s has essentially opened women’s dressing rooms to every man,” said Liberty Counsel founder Mathew Staver. He is pushing for the department store to add a third dressing room for transgender individuals or change their policy. Liberty Counsel’s position on transgender rights diverges from most Americans’ and even most Christians’ opinions. More than 8-in-10 evangelical Protestants and more than 9-in-10 Catholics and mainline Protestants agree that transgender people should have the same rights and protections as everyone else, according to a recent Public Religion Research survey. Additionally, about 75-percent of Americans favoured Congress’ expansion of hate crime legislation to protect transgender people.

Western Australia tennis legend Margaret Court has slammed the push to legalize gay marriage, saying she wants to "protect families.” The Rev. Court urged Australians to make a stand against gay marriage, saying no human law could ever change God's divine laws, according to The West Australian. The Rev. Court, who is regarded as the greatest female player of all time, believes Australia needs to wake up as a nation to protect future generations."Politically correct education has masterfully escorted homosexuality out from behind closed doors, into the community openly and now is aggressively demanding marriage rights that are not theirs to take," she said. Court, who founded and is a senior pastor in Perth's Victory Life Church, said society was best served by strong family units that comprised a mother, father, and children. "They are not perfect, often dysfunctional and despite the fact the role models may be distorted and even severely flawed, there is no reason to put forward alternative, unhealthy, unnatural unions as some form of substitute," she said. "No amount of legislation or political point-scoring can ever take out of the human heart the knowledge that in the beginning God created them male and female and provided each with a unique sexual function to bring forth new life. To dismantle this sole definition of marriage and try to legitimise what God calls abominable sexual practices that include sodomy, reveals our ignorance as to the ills that come when society is forced to accept law that violates their very own God-given nature of what is right and what is wrong." Court claimed that in Massachusetts, where same-sex marriage was legalized in 2004, the negative effects of such unions had already been felt. "The fact that the homosexual cry is, 'We can't help it as we were born this way', as the cause behind their own personal choice is cause for concern," she said. "Every action begins with a thought. There is a choice to be made." Opposition Leader Tony Abbott reaffirmed his commitment to the "traditional" marriage during a visit to Perth yesterday, saying it should be between a man and a woman, adding that he believed his was the position of the majority of the party after Malcolm Turnbull said the coalition should follow Labor's lead to allow a conscience vote on the issue.

Does anyone really want to see Shaun White naked? Apparently, according to TMZ, candid pictures of the American oddity are being shopped to the highest bidder.

Tyler Posey featured in Da Man magazine.

Eugene Simon, of Game of Thrones, tweets a picture of himself alongside his very cute House of Anubis co-star Brad Kavanagh.
