Male Model Renato Seabra Confesses To Murdering Portuguese Journalist Carlos Castro; Charged With Second-Degree Murder; Says He Crudely Castrated Castro To “Rid” Him “Of Homosexual Demons”

20 year old male model Renato Seabra has confessed to killing 65 year old Portuguese journalist Carlos Castro Sunday, as well as offering an odd explanation as to why he crudely castrated the victim, telling police he used a corkscrew to sever Castro’s genitals as a way to cure him of his homosexuality, according to a report by the New York Daily News. Seabra has been charged with second-degree murder. The two men arrived in New York City December 29th from Portugal and by all accounts were a couple; however police believe that Seabra was unable or unwilling to admit that. A police source says that Seabra said “he did it to get rid of (Castro’s) homosexual demons.” Seabra continues to deny he is gay, his mother, Odilia Pereirinha, telling a Portuguese television station “My son was not Carlos Castro’s lover. From the beginning, he never hid his sexuality, which is heterosexual.” She added that her son, whose claim to fame was appearing on a model competition reality show, for which Castro was a judge, is shy and religious, and was not capable of murder. “My son, being a golden boy, who is so good, he didn’t do this,” she said.
