Sunday, I posted on changes to curriculum of British public grade schools to take place for the month of February that will celebrate the gay community, lesson plans in geography, history, and science, for example, to reference the gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender community. Saturday, I posted about the bizarre anti-gay Dr. Hans-Christian Raabe, appointed to the British government agency the Advisory Council of on the Misuse of Drugs, Dr. Raabe liking to link homosexuality to pedophilia. Monday, writing in the Daily Mail, columnist Melanie Phillips first argues that “this gay curriculum is no laughing matter. Absurd as it sound, this is but the latest attempt to brainwash children with propaganda under the camouflage of education. It is an abuse of childhood. And it’s all part of the ruthless campaign by the gay rights lobby to destroy the very concept of normal sexual behaviour.” Of Dr. Raabe, Phillips defends his dangerous and deranged views on sexual orientation suggesting that have no bearing on his opinions regarding the use and misuse of drugs. Phillips concludes her odd parsing of the fight for gay rights writing “Many different groups are involved in promoting this crazy, upside-down work of the equality agenda. But the seemingly all-powerful gay rights lobby carries all before it. If it isn’t careful, it risks turning gay people from being the victims of prejudice into Britain’s new McCarthyites.”
