Chris Colfer Wins Golden Globe And Uses Acceptance Speech As Opportunity To Address Bullying

Chris Colfer has won a Golden Globe, for best performance by an actor in a supporting role in a television series for his work portraying Kurt Hummel in Glee. Colfer, who is openly gay, said during his acceptance speech “to all the amazing kids who watch our show, and the kids our show celebrates, who are constantly told no by people in their environment, by bullies at school that they can’t be who they are have what they want because of who they are, well, screw that, kids.”
