14 year old Graeme Taylor appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show Monday, the openly gay young Ann Arbour resident talks about coming out of the closet –literally and figuratively – and tells the tale of his now famous particular poignant address to the Howell Public School Board defending Jay McDowell, the high school economics teacher suspended two days – one with pay, one without – after removing two students from class for anti-gay comments. Taylor, oddly more articulate at 14 than Ellen, is a gift, truly.
