Cindy McCain Corrects Impression She May Have Made Criticising Husband Over Gay Military Ban On Openly Gay Service Members
An update on a previous post: Cindy McCain, earlier this evening, took to Twitter to post that “I fully support the NOH8 campaign and all it stands for and am proud to be a part of it. But I stand by my husband’s stance on DADT.” McCain’s appearance in an anti-bullying video connected the military ban on openly gay service members with the treating of gays as second class citizens and by extension, permission to be bullied; however, she seems to now have corrected that stance.
