The Middlesex County New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office has subpoenaed Rutgers University to obtain copies of e-mail that allegedly detail how the school responded to Tyler Clementi’s formal complaint that his roommate used a webcam to surreptitiously observe his most private moments, that according to a report in the New Jersey Star-Ledger. Prosecutors requested the subpoenas after investigator felt some at the state university were not fully cooperating with the investigation into the 18 year old freshman’s suicide. Campus officials deny they are obstructing the investigation, spokesperson E.J. Miranda saying “The university is cooperating with the investigation. In some instances, a subpoena is required before the university can release information protected by federal law.”

WTHR-13 Indianapolis reports that Andrew J. Miller, the commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a public indecency charge, the 40 year Republican married father of three charged with soliciting an uncover officer in a public washroom for sex. The police report states that Miller exposed himself to an officer and asked twice if the officer wanted to “touch it.” The report also states that Miller asked the officer if he was married, the officer replied yes, and Miller, according to the report, also indicated he was married and that it would be “ok.”The state BMV is being sued by the Indian Youth Group, a gay advocacy organization, repeatedly denied an application to have a special license plate

This Sunday’s staging of a gay pride parade, reports the Associated Press, will be a critical test for Serbia’s democracy after extremists forced the cancellation of last year’s events, officials from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe as well Amnesty International urging the Serbian government to guarantee the security and rights of the country’s gay community for the celebration Sunday and thereafter. OSCE spokesperson Daiana Serafina Falloni saying “The maturity of Serbian democracy will be among other things judged by the degree to which the principles of non-discrimination, equal status and treatment by the law are enjoyed by all.” Amnesty International spokesperson Sabine Zwiers added “We that the pride will be a turning point for the government to really start working to provide equal rights” and that “This obligation is not ending with the protection of the pride (march), it’s only the beginning.” Right-wing extreme nationalists have already threatened the gay activists, arguing that homosexuality and the public display runs contrary to the values of Serbia. Last year, organizers were forced to cancel the event after area police said they could not guarantee the participant’s safety, however this year the police have promised to protect the parade. Serbia’s Human Rights minister Svetozar Ciplic spoke Thursday and said he will attend the march, adding “I believe Sunday will be one those days that will be written down in Serbia’s modern history.”

Tiziano Ferro, Italian singer, tells Vanity Fair he is gay, coming out finally, he says, because “For a long time I haven’t felt good about myself ... and after many tough years ... I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to live better.” He denied being in relationship, despite repeated reports by Italian tabloids he was seeing a mystery male (“I would get very upset because I wished I had a boyfriend, but I had no one”) and will reportedly reveal more details about his sexual orientation in an autobiography about to conveniently go on sale in Italy October 20th.

Granted, he only turned 17 years old last month, but Patrick Schwarzenegger, spotted après yoga earlier this week with mother Maria, is a looker, a definite looker.
