Ninth And Final Suspect In New York City Anti-Gay Attacks Arrested, Republican New York Gubernatorial Candidate Carl Paladino Officially Obsessed With Gay Pride Parades And Speedo And Grinding Gay Men, Adam Lambert Announces Concert Modifications Meant To Appease Malaysia Government, Justin Bieber Offers Nail Polish Line, Nick Jonas

CNN on the arrest Monday of the ninth and final suspect in the horrific anti-gay attacks on two teen boys and two adult males that police and prosecutors allege were perpetuated because the members of The Latin King Goonies, a gang of sort, thought that one of their recruits was gay. 22 year old Ruddy Vargas-Perez was arrested at a relative’s home in the Bronx, he and eight others charged with abduction, assault, menacing, robbery, sodomy, and unlawful confinement, all as hate crimes. Vargas-Perez is to be arraigned Tuesday, his attorney saying that his client was “absolutely not” involved in any attacks, telling reporters “Ruddy is just appalled by what these people have done to the victims in this case.”

Another story of spectacular stupidity – they seem to appear hourly – from the campaign of New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino, Paladino participated in Monday’s Columbus Day Parade in Manhattan, and according to the Buffalo News he at first backtracked from virulent anti-gay comments made Sunday, saying he supports gay rights, except for gay marriage, and that he condemns violence in any form against homosexuals. He then, however, reiterated more anti-gay hate in the guise of an attack on his Democratic rival Andrew Cuomo, asking a reporter “For God’s sake, he exposed his children to that nonsense of extremists of the Gay Pride Parade. Would you do that? You have children. Would you take your children to the Gay Pride Parade?” The reporter asked if Gay Pride Parades were offensive to him, and Paladino said “Yeah, because they wear these little Speedos, and they grind ... against each other, and I don’t think little children should be exposed to that.”

An update on a previous post, Entertainment Weekly announcing that Adam Lambert took to Twitter late Monday to respond to demands made by the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party that the American Idol runner up’s concert be cancelled because it (or him) promotes gay culture, Lambert tweeting that “While I don’t believe that my glamnation tour is in any way offensive I have agreed to make a few minor adjustments out of respect for the Malaysian government.” He added “Does my show ‘promote the gay lifestyle?’ It promotes living ANY lifestyle that includes the freedom to seek love and intimacy. Gay, straight, bi, young or old. It’s all inclusive ... Plus, what’s THE gay lifestyle? There isn’t just one. There are so many different kinds of gay people. We have a variety of different lifestyles. There’s not only one lifestyle lived by straight folks. Generalizing ...”

Justin Bieber is launching a line of nail polish, SheFinds.com reporting that the line – a collaboration with beauty brand Nicole – will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart in December, in February an expanded line will be carried by Sears and, um, Target.
