Gay Saudi Prince Allegedly Murdered Servant In Brutal Sexual Attack
34 year old Saudi prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud is on trial in London for murdering his servant, 32 year old Bandar Abdulaziz, found beaten and strangled on February 15th in bed at the London hotel room the two men had been sharing since January, the Telegraph reports, a series of injuries that included bite marks to Mr. Abdulaziz’s cheeks revealing the “ferocity of the attack to which he had been subjected.” Prosecutor Jonathan Laidlaw told the Old Bailey in London, England’s Central Criminal Court Tuesday that Saud admitted killing his servant so that a jury had to determine if he was guilty of murder of the less serious charge of manslaughter. Laidlaw said Saud claimed that he and Abdulaziz were friends, and that he was heterosexual, however Laidlaw told the court “the evidence establishes quite conclusively that he is either gay or that he has homosexual tendencies. The defendant’s concealing of the sexual aspect to his abuse of the victim was for altogether more sinister reasons and it tends to suggest that there was a sexual element to the circumstances of the killing.” The prince had previously attacked the servant several times, including once in January in the elevator of the hotel; an incident captured on security video cameras. Laidlaw, who added that there is evidence two male escorts were called to the hotel in February prior to Abdulaziz’s death, and that an forensic examination of the prince’s personal computer revealed a browsing history from several gay message boards and gay escort agencies, Laidlaw saying “There was a far more complicated relationship than the defendant was prepared to accept and there was an abusive undertone to it.”
