Cute couple Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have welcomed twins to the world, Neil tweeting today “Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey.”

Margaret Cho was likely eliminated from the ABC show Dancing With the Stars because she wore and called attention to a rainbow coloured dress, that according to Popeater.com and an interview with Cho’s dance partner Louis Van Amstel. Monday, after the twosome performed, Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli complemented Cho on the gay pride plumage, judge Carrie Ann Inaba saying that show had gone gay, and Cho herself saying the it was the gayest thing that had ever happened on the show. Van Amstel says “That was not the story we planned to tell. That was not my message. Maybe it was Margaret’s message, but not mine. The minute it was about gay pride, I knew we were gone. I knew it. But if I would have said something then and there, I would have looked like an asshole. The damage was done.” Van Amstel says he and Cho talked the following day, because, according to him, the original plan was to tell the story of Cho’s triumph over a painful background of being bullied for being overweight, her subsequent anorexia, suicidal feelings until finally learning to accept and love herself. However, once the rainbow coloured dress was deemed a statement about gay pride, Amstel says “She felt, ‘Yes, we’ve got to make a statement. We’ve got that one moment in time with twenty three million people watching, we’ve got to take it.’” He says “I disagreed with it. I think you change people’s minds by being you – not by provoking, being angry at the world.” He added that “If I have to label myself, yes, I’m gay, and I’m proud of who I am and comfortable with myself and my lifestyle. But I don’t want to be limited by that; I don’t want to be put into a box. I don’t want to be labelled in any way because labelling in the beginning of discrimination and hatred.” As for interpretations regarding the rainbow he says “Yes, I know that the gay community uses the rainbow flag, but to me, it’s important to also remember we all live under the rainbow.”

Austin – one of the stars of the noxious series The A-List – is a former model whose claim to fame up to this point is that he dated Marc Jacobs.
