This Saturday, two hundred gay and lesbian St. Louis Cardinals fans are expected to attend an Out at the Ballpark afternoon of baseball at Busch Stadium. The group, organized by Ethan Barnett of Pride St. Louis, are asking that they be included on the Cardinal “kiss cam” at some point during the game; a request precipitated by an incident this past Sunday at a NFL game between the St. Louis Rams and the visiting Arizona Cardinals. The kiss cam focused on two presumably heterosexual men sitting together, wearing matching Cardinals jerseys. The crowd laughed, and then booed when the two appeared more than uncomfortable with the attention. According to Harrison Roberts, the manager of Just John’s, a gay bar that is the post-game destination for members taking part in the baseball game, gays and lesbians found it incredibly offensive. “They all had the same reaction. They were embarrassed, and felt a little degraded,” said Roberts. According to Tony Simokaitis, the director of scoreboard operations, the Out At the Ballpark contingent’s request has been taken, but he offers no guarantees. “We look for lively areas,” he said, “full areas where people are in their seats, watching the video board, somewhat paying attention. We try to get as many people in as we can in the minute and a half between innings. There’s not a lot of time to allow us to make calculated judgements in terms of demographics.”
Anti-gay marriage California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman paid a visit to Yelp’s San Francisco headquarters, and, um, it did not go according to plan.
The seriously sexy Hunter Parrish appears in an episode of Weeds from season six entirely nude, then in teeny, tiny, and tight white boxerbriefs. I approve. (NSFW)
Kellan Lutz appears in green Calvin Klein X Range boxerbriefs, an ample reminder of Kellan assets.
Zac Efron, too, with a timely reminder of his assets, Efron now in the United Kingdom, still bearded, black boxerbriefs in full view.
