University Of Illinois To Review Termination Of Religion Professor Who Deemed Gay Sex Unnatural, Church of Scientology Attacks Anderson Cooper, Dove Better Than Ever Contest Garners Gay Coming Entry, What Male Will Come Out On 90210, John Barrowman Lobbies For Glee

The University of Illinois Faculty Senate’s Committee on Academic Freedom and Tenure announced that it is reviewing a decision to fire an adjunct religion professor who said, emphasising his Catholic faith to a class prior to an exam that homosexual acts went against the law of nature. The review will determine whether Kenneth Howell’s right to free speech under the guise of academic freedom was in fact violated.

The Church of Scientology claims that Anderson Cooper is least credible newscaster because the CNN anchored AC360 blog connected to Cooper “censored” comments from members of the least credible religion after Cooper aired an investigation on said church and said church practices. The irony: the Scientology blog that rants and raves about Cooper and CNN shutting down free expression does not allow comments.

The makers of Dove are running an online contest – Better Than Ever – asking customers what in their life is better than ever, as well as submitting a before and after photo. Matt Kansas submitted an entry accompanied by a before and after photograph, writing “I always knew deep down inside I was a raging homosexual. I tried to suppress it by dating girls. I hate living a lie. I was depressed and miserable. NOW! I am living my life as an openly gay man! I can love whom I want and not be ashamed or scared of who I am attracted to. And THAT is why my love life is better than ever.” The inclusivity on the part of Dove is great and all but I feel so bad for the girl in the before picture.

Apparently one of the smoking sexy male stars of the CW’s 90201 will have their character on the show come out, although, having watched the show from time to time, I had assumed that they were ALL already out.

John Barrowman really, really, really wants to play one of Rachel’s two gay fathers on Fox’s Glee.
