Tensions Escalate Between Vancouver Gay And South Asian Communities Over Reported Gay Bashings, Cristiano Ronaldo Pays Millions To Mother Of His Child To Silence Her, Gareth Thomas Wants Mickey Rourke To Play Him, Wayne Rooney Plays With His Package, Prince Harry Plays Polo, Prince William Is A Cricketer

Since 1994, thirteen Canadians of South Asian descent have been charged in connection to gay bashings in British Columbia. In the same period of time, eighteen cases of gay bashings have been brought before the courts, meaning that statistically South Asian men were accountable for more than a third of the reported violence against gay men. However, since the Vancouver police, the RCMP, and the Crown do not compile statistics on hate crimes that detail the ethnic backgrounds of the perpetrators of gay bashing, the evidence is entirely anecdotal, but the perception is creating an ever-growing tension between the LGBT community and the South Asian community, now thought to be inherently homophobic.

There are reports that the mother of Cristiano Ronaldo’s baby boy – if it is indeed his – is a waitress in Los Angeles, California that the Portuguese soccer star bedded one night late last summer. The yet to identified female is reportedly being paid ten million pounds to remain silent, and agree that the child not know the mother’s name until he turns 18 years.

Gareth Thomas, the Welsh rugby icon who came out publically last year, reportedly wants Mickey Rourke to play him in a proposed biographical movie based on Thomas’ life, despite the difference in ages, Thomas being 35, Rourke 57 years old.
