In Zagreb, Croatia an estimate 300 gays and lesbians protected by an almost identical number of police, marched Saturday in that country’s 9th Gay Pride Parade. The hour long parade ended with a concert at the city’s Zrinjevac Park. At the same time, an anti-gay protest, organized by an ultra-right extremist political party, surrounded by police, waved Croatian flags, and chanted “You are not Croatia.”
