Anti-gay marriage advocates are apparently attempting to sway a straw poll to be taken this weekend in Washington, D.C. at the District’s Democratic Committee, residents in the area receiving fliers urging them to attend the straw poll vote “to send a message” to the candidates who supported the city’s recently passed same sex marriage law.
An exhibition in Warsaw at the Polish National Museum on the history of gay and lesbian love is being protested in Catholic and conservative country, weeks before it is open. The exhibit runs from June 11th through September 5th, and will feature male nudes and same sex couples as depicted in ancient sculpture and contemporary painting and photography.
