Episcopalian Church Consecrates Openly Gay Mary Glasspool, Despite Evidence To The Contrary Dallas Police Not Investigating Anti-Gay Bias Attack As Hate Crime, South Florida Sun Sentinel Calls For An End To State’s Archaic Gay Adoption Ban, Celebrating Charleston Pride, Ryan Phillippe On Full Display, Gaspard Ulliel Beauty

The Episcopal Church consecrated Reverend Canon Mary Glasspool Saturday, Glasspool the second openly gay bishop to be ordained by the church, as well as becoming only the second female bishop in the Diocese of Los Angeles’ 114 year history. The Reverend Canon Diane M. Jardine Bruce was also ordained Saturday. Both women were elected in December, but conservative Episcopalians objected the ordination of Glasspool, underlining an internal war regarding the inclusive and promotion of openly gay members of the church. Moments before the ceremony began Saturday in Long Beach, California, a man stood, shouted about the need to repent and held up a sign that read “Do not be deceived, homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of the God.” As he was escorted out by security, a young boy in the same section stood up holding a Bible, shouting similar anti-gay slogans. The 56 year old Glasspool, who did not speak publically Saturday, said Friday that the Episcopalian Church’s commitment to ordaining gays and women demonstrates a promise to inclusivity that goes beyond mere words. “We are being the church we day we are,” Glasspool said, “we’re not just saying it, we’re doing it and there’s something very powerful about that.”

Dallas police are investigating after two men were assaulted by a group of men near a number of the city’s gay bars, four suspects attacking two men who asked only to be identified by the first names – Alex and Kyle – with baseball bats, while yelling a number of anti-gay slurs. The two men were robbed of their cell phones and wallets, and despite insistence by the victims that the incident constitutes a hate crime, the police consider the attack a robbery.

A stunningly strong editorial from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel condemning the state’s “archaic ban on gay adoption that has no place in 21st century society,” and calling for an end to the “shameful and embarrassing” law that prohibits gays from adopting, a law ruled unconstitutional, despite a misguided attempt by attorney general Bill McCollum – a gubernatorial candidate – who hired George Alan Rekers to testify as an expert that gays are inherently unstable.

Congratulations to Charleston, South Carolina, Saturday celebrating their first ever Charleston Pride Parade, hundreds participating in the parade, attended by thousands.

Ryan Phillippe, the most beautiful man in the world, adds to his credentials as a Hall of Fame DILF attending son Deacon’s flag football game Saturday accompanied by daughter Ava, in the lovely Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles, Phillippe fully displaying his smoking sexy physique, as well as a welcomed glimpse of underwear.

Gaspard Ulliel, an obvious challenger to Phillippe’s status as most beautiful man in the world, on hand Sunday at Cannes at the premier of the Bertrand Tavernier directed The Princess of Montpensier, the 25 year old hotness soon to be seen in the much buzzed about Chanel campaign, directed by Martin Scorsese, to debut in September.

Cast member Ulliel poses during a photocall for the film La Princesse de Montpensier by director Tavernier at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival
