Hedwig And The Angry Inch To Make Broadway Debut, Chris Kanyon, Rufus Wainwright Now Wants To Be Able To Marry, Ugly Betty Series Wrap Party Report, Male Model Hotness Horsing Around, Nick Jonas On The Beach With Austin Robert Butler, Alex Meraz And Colton Haynes Are Da Men

The New York Post is reporting that John Cameron Mitchell’s epic Hedwig and the Angry Inch will be returning to New York, a few blocks north of its original incarnation, the almost impossibly great work – a tale of a fictitious East German transsexual rock star – making its Broadway debut. According to the report, the show will not be a revival in the strictest sense of that word, but instead, will be an updating, starring Mitchell, recreating the role he so memorably created.

Chris Kanyon, a professional wrestler who famously outed his character in February of 2006, then came out himself in March of that year, has died. He was 40. The cause of death is still under investigation, but reports are that Kanyon, whose real name was Chris Klucsaritis, took his own life, Kanyon have suffered a bi-polar disorder for several years.

Rufus Wainwright, who famously said in 2008 that he, being a “complete libertarian,” was not a “huge gay marriage supporter,” now says he wants to marry, and is frustrated by American laws that ban gay marriage. Wainwright says that his perspective has changed partly by his five year relationship with his German boyfriend Jorn, who is not an American citizen, and whose application for a visa may or may not be approved. Wainwright says that he is angry that he, in a committed relationship, cannot simply marry Jorn, which would automatically afford him American citizenship. “I wasn’t a huge gay marriage supporter before I met Jorn because I love the whole old-school promiscuous Oscar Wilde freak show of what ‘being gay’ once was. But since meeting Jorn that all changed,” a statement, that, um, is ironic in ways I cannot articulate.

A report from New York Magazine on the Ugly Betty series wrap party, held this past Wednesday night, the show cruelly cancelled far before its time.

An editorial titled Goodbye Horses from the most recent issue of S magazine.

Last Sunday, after an afternoon spent fishing, Nick Jonas found the biggest catch of the day in Malibu, hooking up with blond hotness Austin Robert Butler on the set of the CW’s Life Unexpected.

Alex Meraz, Colton Haynes, and Eric France star in a series titled L.A. Story for the April/May issues of Da Man Magazine – Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley graces the cover – and the editorial features a selection of smoking sexy photographs of the intense Meraz and the cuter that cute can be Colton Haynes.
