British Conservative Consider Legalizing Gay Marriage If Elected, Des Moines Muzzles Westboro Baptist Church Protest, South African White Supremacist May Have Been Murdered After Attempting To Sodomize Underage Male

Offering a tutorial in risk management, the British Conservative Party shadow chancellor George Osborne said Sunday that the Tories would be “very happy” to consider legalizing same sex marriage if elected. Osborne made the remarks at a meeting with gay activists ahead of a protest outside the Conservative campaign headquarters over statements made by the shadow home secretary Chris Grayling, who said that Christian bed and breakfast owners operating out of their own homes “have the right” to refuse gay couples. He since apologized for the statement, but that did nothing to stop an estimated two hundred protestors who gathered in front of the Conservative campaign offices.

In Iowa, a family of six Westboro Baptist Church members carrying signs that read “God Hates Fags” were met with over five hundred counter protesters carrying signs that read “My God Loves Everyone” after the WBC organized a demonstration at Drake University, in Des Moines, there to protest a symposium on same sex marriage. Sara Phelps, granddaughter of founder Fred Phelps, accompanied by two of her many cousins, ages 9 and 13, who wore shirts that read “JewsKilledJesus.com” was peacefully confronted by members of the community for roughly a half an hour.

Authorities in South Africa are exploring whether there is a “homosexual link” to the murder of white supremacist Eugene Terre’Blanche, after reports that he attempted to sodomize one or both of the two men charged with killing him. The murder of the 69 year old Terre’Blanche, the leader of the far right extremist Afrikaner Resistance Movement, has exacerbated racial tensions in South Africa between members of the ARM and members of the African National Congress.
