Will Philips, who, last year, at age ten, refused to stand to pledge allegiance because, as Will noted, there does not exist liberty and justice for all in America – at least for the gay community – is now eleven, and the Arkansas sixth grader is the adorable, articulate spokesperson for Get EQUAL, an organization founded by the National Equality March’s Robin McGehee and Kip Williams that is launching today. The group, which appears, thankfully, to be less passive that the Human Rights Campaign, is about action, demanding inclusion and an immediate implementation of equal rights. Will message is direct and simple – he gets it and wants you to get it too!
