Washington D.C. Gay Marriage Ceremonies Commence, Another Utah City Prepares To Enact Anti-Discrimination Ordinances, Response To Virginia Attorney General Bigotry, Gaspard Ulliel, Franklin Rutz Alone In A Hotel Room, Taylor Fuchs, Kellan Lutz Has Something To Show You

Tuesday is the first day that same sex couples who applied for marriage licences last Wednesday in Washington, D.C. were able to marry legally, fifteen couples arriving in the first hour this morning to do just that, including Darlene Garner and Candy Holmes (pictured), Jeremy Moon and Brian Legaspi, and James Betz and Robert Hawthorne. Congratulations to all!

West Valley City, the second largest metropolitan area in Utah, is likely to follow the lead of Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County, and adopt ordinances that would prohibit discrimination in areas of employment and housing based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Tomorrow – Tuesday – at the behest of newly elected Mayor Mike Winder, the city council will begin discussions such measures, Winder saying “I’m a proud Republican and a proud American. When I recite the Pledge of Allegiance and say ‘with liberty and justice for,’ I mean what I say.” The Mayor added that as a Christian he believe in the principle of treating others as you would want to be treated, saying “I certainly wouldn’t want to fired or lose my house because of my personal lifestyle preferences."

Late last week Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinell, newly elected, a Republican wrote the state’s public colleges and universities and advised them to remove any and all language from policies protecting the rights of gays and lesbians. Reaction to Cuccinelli’s bigotry has been direct and swift, particularly on college and university campuses with students creating social media pages denouncing the attorney general’s opinion. Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell, a Republican, said Monday that while he can support the legal reasoning behind the attorney general’s letter, he cannot allow discrimination at state agencies, colleges, or universities, saying “I will not tolerate discrimination in this administration.”

Gaspard Ulliel, so achingly beautiful, is profiled and photographed by the New York Times T magazine.

Male model Franklin Rutz, 21 years old, like badminton and travelling, and recently spent time in a hotel room with photographer Didio, and well that is all you need to know for now.(NSFW)

The terribly cute Taylor Fuchs featured in the spring and summer 2010 fashion editorial for Lacoste, photographed by Ellen von Unwerth.

Not attending the Academy Awards Sunday, Kellan Lutz and AnnaLynne McCord were in Puerto Rico participating in the 1st annual Roselyn Sanchez Triathlon for Life Race, Kellan, his nipples, and his package pure perfection.
