GOProud But NOM No Like, Adam Lambert Fulfills Promise To Underprivileged Public School, Fresno City College Denies He Is Anti-Gay Pro-Creation, Natural Pouch Package Party, Arthur Sales

GOProud – a hybrid of Log Cabin Republicans – attended this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference as a sponsor and the gay Republican coalition, which intends to promote and pursue legislation critical to gays from within the party, and while some in attendence were supportive, most were less than welcoming, particularly fellow sponsors the National Organization for Marriage, who take issue with gays “trying to redefine marriage for the rest of us.”

Adam Lambert surprised a select group of middle school music students Thursday, fulfilling a lot of dreams, including his own. The class at 45 Belvedere Middle School in Los Angeles was chosen by Lambert – and his fans – who all donated a total of 300,000 to be donated to a school selected because of its high need. 94-percent of Belvedere students qualify for free or reduced rate lunches, and at time when art programs in the American public school system are often first to have their budgets cut, Lambert wanted to give back, helping to fund art, drama, and music classes, and encouraging at risk students to focus and follow their dreams. Lambert took questions from the students and teacher, as well as performed two songs with the students, including the Rolling Stones’ You Can’t Always Get What You Want.

Fresno City College health sciences instructor Brad Lopez denies he teaches that homosexuality is a disease, a mental illness, and that he uses the Bible as a basis for teaching science. The American Civil Liberties Union filed a complaint of behalf of students, alarmed and angered that Lopez was allegedly arguing that homosexuals were degrading to society and were ruining the world.
