Focus On The Family To Air Second Super Bowl Ad, Miami Police Department Disarray, Miss J Is Out And Proud, Male Model Goodness, Guys With iPhones Frat Fun, Edison Farrow, Orlando Bloom Wet, Duda Nagle, Beautiful Benjamin Coin

Reports rampant that anti-abortion, anti-gay group Focus on the Family, despite pleading poverty, has purchased time in Sunday’s Super Bowl pregame show – which runs nearly all day – to air a second ad a total of four times. The second commercial also features Tim Tebow and his mother Pam. CEO Jim Daly says that the two ads are “an open discussion on the sanctity of human life” and that they both have “a bit of humor in it – fitting with the Super Bowl theme.”

Two Miami, Florida police officers accused of harassment and wrongful arrest have been placed on desk duty pending the outcome of an internal investigation. In March of 2009, Harold Strickland witnessed the two officers arrested another gay man abusively and with excessive force and called 911 to report it. The two officers saw Strickland, made him end the phone call, and arrested him, charging with one count of loitering and one count of prowling. Strickland says he was the victim of homophobic abuse. The lawsuit was filed Friday.
