Woodstock New Brunswick Lady Thunder Hockey Team Heroics, South Korea Grants Asylum To Gay Pakistani, Zachary Quinto And Tyler Shields Lunch, Jason Mraz On The Year Of Equality For All, Furry Luke Fitzgerald, Scott Herman Works It Out

A tremendous story from Woodstock, New Brunswick, on the courage and true heroism of the players of the Woodstock High School Lady Thunder hockey teams, whose show of strength and of support for two openly gay players is a rare reminder of the greatness in reach within us all. I have posted about it before – the team has been honoured with a New Brunswick Human Rights Award for their unwavering defence of teammates Sierra Paul, right winger and captain as well as right winger and assistant captain Alyssa McLean – but their story is updated and well worth revisiting.

A Seoul, South Korea court said Sunday that a gay Pakistani man who fled that country fearing persecution because of his sexual orientation is to have his application for refugee status be reinstated. The individual, whose identity is being protected, petitioned the South Korea in February, but four months later, the Justice Ministry rejected the file, stating the claim did not meet the criteria of a “well-rounded fear of being prosecuted.” In the decision made Sunday, the Seoul Administrative Court said that there “is a high likelihood that the plaintiff will be subject to persecution by the Pakistani government and Muslim society simply because he is gay.”

Zachary Quinto and his best friend forever Tyler Shields, out and about, Saturday in sunny Southern California, on their way to lunch, après yoga.

Jason Mraz insists that prejudice is so last century, and that 2010 is the year he stands up for same sex marriage. Follow the man’s lead!

The Irish rugby star Luke Fitzgerald, so smoking sexy, seen in teeny, tiny, and tight white briefs.

Our favourite non-practicing homosexual – sexy Scott Herman – want you and I to be a ten in 2010, and towards that end, demonstrates the 40 x40 challenge, as well as the odd suggestion of having the blender in the bathroom.
