China Celebrates First Gay “Marriage,” Documentary Examines Gay Out Officers On Toronto Force, GLAAD Media Nominees, Cristiano Ronaldo For Armani Underwear, Smoking Sexy Sam Way For B*Boy Underwear

China Daily, the state run English language paper, reports that the “first” gay marriage took place, pictures of the couple, 45 year old Zeng Anquan and 27 year old Pan Wenjie, on page one capturing the two celebrating at the ceremony which took place January 3rd. While the marriage has no legal significance, it appears to be another indication that China is encouraging a stance of inclusion or at least tolerance, the article underlining the struggles faced by the couple, including family members threatening to disown them, including Zeng, who said “my sister warned me she would never call me her brother unless I break up with Pan; and I have answered hundreds of phone calls from friend and relatives, who say they feel ashamed of me. But we are deeply in love and will never desert each other.”

A documentary debuting Wednesday on CBC titled Badge of Pride examines what is to be gay and an officer with the Toronto Police Department, the largest force in the country, following the day to day lives of four out officers, including a rookie, Constable Paul Regan.

The nominations for the 21st annual GLAAD media awards have been announced, A Single Man, Glee, The Joy Behar Show, and Modern Family among the nominees, and, ironically, Adam Lambert. Outrage, the Kirby Dick documentary, was not nominated.

Cristiano Ronaldo campaigns for Armani Underwear.

British male model Sam Way, meanwhile, models the right way for B*Boy Underwear.
