Spain Issue Apology To Imprisoned Gay Man, Ron Livingston Remains Not Gay, Taylor Lautner, Cristiano Ronaldo Removes Shirt, Jordan Shipley, Colt McCoy

The BBC is reporting that Antoni Ruiz is the first in Spain to receive an official apology for his imprisonment for being gay. In 1976, Ruiz, then 17 years old, spent three month in prison under a law that had been introduced by Dictator General Francisco Franco outlawing homosexuality. He had come out to his parents, who, worried, confided in a Catholic monk, who promptly alerted the authorities. The law was overturned in 1979. Spain passed the Historical Memory law in 2007, which seeks to redress crimes committed by the state during the Spanish Civil War and throughout the reign of General Franco. Spain legalized same sex marriage in 2005.

According to TMZ, actor Ron Livingston – Office Space, Sex and the City – is suing Wikipedia for libel, invasion of privacy, and for using his name and likeness without permission, because “some mystery internet bandit began relentlessly changing his Wiki page to say he’s in a relationship with man named Lee Dennison … a claim Livingston says is completely false and malicious,” alleges the lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Nikki Finke reports that Taylor Lautner is set to star in the adaptation of Mattel's Max Steel, the new Paramount Pictures action film, almost certain to cement Lautner’s status as the new and the next.

Cristiano Ronaldo, critical in Real Madrid’s 4-2 victory Saturday over Almeria, has apologized for being sent off, the sexy soccer star receiving two yellow cards during the match, one for removing his shirt subsequent to scoring a goal, and the second for kicking out at Juanma Ortiz. The shirt strip told in pictures is thankfully here, and while no one condones poor sportsmanship, everyone condones Cristiano in various states of undress. Everyone!

While Tim Tebow and the number one ranked Florida Gators were upset Saturday by an astonishingly accomplished Alabama Crimson Tide, ranked number two, 32-13, the Texas Longhorns, number three, survived a wild game Saturday night, winning with no time remaining 13-12 on a field goal, defeating number twenty-one, to remain undefeated, led in large part by quarterback Colt McCoy and his favorite receiver and roommate Jordan Shipley, all of which is a handy reason to publish a picture of Shipley from Saturday's game, Jordan possessing some of the finest assets in all of college football.
