On Friday, the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund filed a complaint with the Florida Commission on Human Relations against an Orlando area McDonald’s after 17 year old Zikerria Bellamy was refused consideration for a position as either a Shift Manager or Crew Leader after the location learned she was transgendered. The beyond disturbing, offensive voicemail Bellamy received from one of the managers informing her she would not be considered for either position because “faggots” are never hired is at the source.
In the aftermath of the failed attempt to pass a same sex marriage measure in New York State, threats of retribution by gay advocates against the Democrats who were supported into their legislative seats and then stumbled badly, unable or unwilling to enact a law that most fully approve. “It’s going to be a bloodbath,” said one unnamed source,” We’re going to use ever single weapon in our quiver to take these people out.
