Dallas Mavericks forward Tim Thomas allegedly employed a number of anti-gay slurs early Wednesday morning at an area Denny’s restaurant, and although no arrests have yet been made, Thomas is an alleged assault suspect. According to reports – and currently, they are confusing – Thomas, accompanied by another man, and two women, entered a Denny’s at 3:00 AM and the 30 year old Thomas was recognized by 29 year old Damien Thomas, who said “what’s up?” Thomas responded by saying he didn’t speak to “faggots” and his male accomplice added a number of other anti-gay slurs, all of which led to an alleged “melee.” The Dallas Mavericks, who cancelled a scheduled appearance by Thomas for late Wednesday afternoon at an area mall, deny Thomas was involved, saying “He’s 30 years old, with a wife and kids.”
