Adam Lambert And Kris Allen On And Off-Stage, Chris Pine, Orlando Bloom, Vatican Wild About Oscar Wilde, Amazon Deletes George Orwell

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen – Kradam for those in the know – last night in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, on stage for the 2009 American Idols Live tour, Lambert looking a little butch in his denim vest, the twosome making quite the cute couple Friday at an Idol promotional event.

Chris Pine, so fine is he, in the slavishly trendy Silver Lake district of Los Angeles, cell phone and coffee in hand, just being divine.

Orlando Bloom, who has his Los Angeles area home burglarized Wednesday, thieves reportedly stealing over five hundred thousand dollars of personal goods, returned to the scene of the crime Thursday, and despite the loss, Orlando managed to look lovely.

The official Vatican newspaper – L’Osservatore Romano – has heaped praise on none other than Oscar Wilde, saying he “was a man constantly looking for the beautiful and the good, and also a God that he never challenged.” Wilde, who was baptized Catholic, converted just before his death in 1900.

Amazon.com in vain Friday, trying to find an excuse as to why the online retailer seemingly randomly deleted digital editions of George Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm from it’s Kindle application, finally stating it was because the company had no right to use them in a self-serve style.
