Violently self-promoting Perez Hilton has released yet another in a series of statements, this one as impossible to understand as any of the others, but it might have something to do with Hilton offering non-violent resistance, marching for equality this October in Washington, D.C., and protesting that he is the victim. Oh, and defending his use of the f-g word, because according to Hilton, he is no homophobe.
The irrepressible and unsinkable Michael Urie, never a victim of anything at all, currently appearing in The Temperamentals, answers all the questions asked – well not all, but enough, for now, the self-professed cavalcade of merriment mentioning that he would like Phylicia Rashad to play him in a movie.
Miley Cyrus, currently filming The Last Song, and the producer Adam Shankman, took some candid pictures of them, which were prompted posted on Shank man’s Twitter, to the horror and outrage of many, who thought the photographs too sexually suggestive. Um, if memory serves, Shankman, who directed Hairspray and Prop 8: The Musical might be, um, a very, very gay man, so the pictures with Cyrus are harmless. The pictures of Adam with Miley’s co-star, Australian hotness Liam Hemsworth, well that is another story.
The beautiful Chris Pine, about to appear on stage in the Geffen Theater production of Farragut North, which opens Wednesday evening, based on the 2004 campaign of Howard Dean, and, disputing claims that his charm is based solely on looks – handsome he is – talks about the craft of acting and suggests that there is a closeted Peter Lorre inside Chris, one hoping to come out and play “the fun, darker, weirder roles.”
