Adam Lambert thinks that being on People magazine’s list of top ten single sexy summer bachelors is “cool,” but insists that “I’m not hot!” He also talks about an upcoming collaboration with Queen, and although not having an interest – yet – in designing a clothing line, he expresses a desire to do a cosmetic line, adding that it would be “an eyeliner, nail polish line. It will be very livable. You can put it on it will stay for the whole week,” and that, truthfully, sounds so similar to every boyfriend I had my first year of university.
If you Twitter (I do, but remain wildly ambivalent), late Wednesday night you might have noticed the treading topic #gokeyisadouche, started soon after a rather nasty story about failed Idol contestant Danny Gokey, whose hate and homophobia is at direct odds with his supposed Christianity, and his family embarrassing, with a nasty deliberateness that was obviously homophobic, Adam Lambert, the night of the now infamous pre-finale American Idol dinner in Burbank. Twitter soon removed the topic, odd, because I thought they think themselves as technology for the people, of the people, etc, but maybe Twitter’s censorship is selective, and as now neither Gokey nor his family have commented.
Chris Pine, one more time, so fine, in plaid, out and about in Los Angeles Wednesday, getting coffee, which is an event much more interesting to look at that it might sound.
Best Fresh Prince of Bel Air story perhaps ever, Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Vivian on said sitcom from the eighties, and who has written a new book – Perfection is not a Sitcom Mom - to be released in February, 2010, and in it she paints a not so pretty picture of star and Scientologist Will Smith, accusing the actor of being a boy behaving very badly.
