Jackson Autopsy Inconclusive, Liza Minnelli Worries Autopsy Results Will Wreak Havoc, Jackson’s Death Disrupts Internet, Twelfth Night

Late Friday afternoon, the Los Angeles County Coroners office release the tentative results of Michael Jackson’s autopsy, and while finding no signs of external trauma, the exact cause of death is not likely to be known for weeks, maybe a month. Details of the initial finding were not forthcoming, except in the most general of terms.

Michael’s good friend, Liza Minnelli, meanwhile, this morning, said “all of us who knew him well really know what he was like … and I’m sure when the autopsy comes, all hell’s going to break loose,” Minnelli adding “thank God we’re celebrating him now.”

Google is reported the demand for information on Jackson yesterday overwhelmed the supply, several searchers finding only error pages, while some sites, and including the Los Angeles Times was unresponsive. Twitter too, failed, it’s serving crashing repeatedly throughout the day, and tweets about Jackson, which averaged one-hundred thousand per hour, altogether knocking Iran off Twitter’s trending track.

Last night, Thursday, was opening night for the Public Theatre’s production of Shakespeare in the Park, this year featuring Twelfth Night, starring Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, and Raul Esparza. Hathaway and all were feted by first nighters including Hope Davis, Jane Krakowski, Mike Nichols and wife Diane Sawyer. The reviews, including Charles Isherwood writing in the New York Times, were all more than glowing.
