Dustin Lance Black was out and about in Los Angeles Saturday evening, looking ever so sexy and stylish, at the fourth annual Live Out Loud event where Lance was honored for his work with LifeWorksMentoring, the advocacy group for LGBT youth from ages fourteen to twenty-four.
Perez Hilton continues to try to tarnish what good the gay community does, the latest being some inane and incorrect story on the demanding and difficult behavior of Aubrey O’Day of the Pussycat Dolls, whom Hilton reported behaved badly when shooting a NO H8 photograph. Adam Bouska and Jeff Parhsley, the co-founders of the organization determined to demand marriage equality for gays, specifically in California as an antidote to Proposition 8, were forced to come to the defense of O’Day, saying “it is unfortunate that while doing something for the greater good someone found pleasure in tearing it down. Aubrey O’Day believes in marriage equality. We had a great time shooting her.”
Edmonton, Alberta held its Pride Parade Saturday under clear, sunny skies, and a climate of hate, where over ten thousand turned out in support and a show of strength (last year’s parade, unlike this year’s, was marred by anti-gay protestors: yes, it is Alberta and yes it is the worst province in the country for gay rights) that including a display of disdain for one member of the province’s legislature, Heather Klimchuk, one of those who help bring about Bill 44, the bill meant to bring the dreadful province into the 21st century by protecting homosexuals from discrimination based on sexual orientation, by instead sanctioned state protected homophobia.
Ryan Phillippe, the most beautiful man in the world, out and about Saturday morning with son Deacon, being the Hall of Fame DILF he is, helping out and supporting Deacon’s Little League team, scowling, sexy, blue eyes hidden behind the omnipresent sunglasses.
