Dustin Lance Black And Angela Lansbury Honored In NYC, Eamon Farrell Marries Stephen Mannion In Canada, Perez Hilton Sues, Shia Likes Weed

An event this Thursday in New York City, coinciding with Pride festivities, titled Hollywood and Broadway, Salute to Pride, which will honor a number of actors, including Lance Bass, Allison Janney, and Patrick Wilson for their support and work of gay rights. The event, sponsored by the beleaguered State Senate, will also feature a speech by both Dustin Lance Black and Cleve Jones, and is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM in front of City Hall. Admission is free.

Eamon Farrell, Colin’s brother, married his longtime boyfriend Stephen Mannion in Vancouver, British Columbia, in early June. Contrary to earlier claims, Colin was not on hand to act as best man.

Like the Sarah Palin of gossip mongers, Perez Hilton know not when to stop, announcing that he intends to file a civil lawsuit against the manager of the Black Eyed Peas, whom Hilton alleges assaulted him in Toronto, Ontario, post-Much Music Video Award show, early Monday morning. Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, and who refuses to apologize for using ugly gay slurs in self-defense, filed the suit in Los Angeles Wednesday against Polo Molina, which claims that he endured “humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress.” Sort of like what I endure forced to keep reading and reporting on the story that will not stop.

Shia LaBeouf, Hollywood hobo, at Los Angeles International Airport, departing for places unknown, dons an ironic and unfortunate tee shirt.
