Clay Aiken Scary Stalker Revealed

The scary stalker who is at the center of the Clay Aiken attacking Adam Lambert, Adam Lambert attacking Clay Aiken scandal has been exposed and his name is John Paulus, allegedly a middle-aged gay man who thought he was being romanced by the real Clay Aiken, only to discover he was not. Angry and humiliated, Paulus apparently made it his mandate to try to discredit Aiken whenever and wherever possible, leaking finely fabricated tall tales about Aiken to less than reputable sources like Perez Hilton and Dlisted – both of whom have their own awkward and ugly personal agendas against Aiken – who eagerly publishes the falsehoods as though they were truth. In the process of course, he, Paulus, has needlessly tried to corrupt the public perception of Clay Aiken, as well as damage the credibility and dignity of Aiken and his fan base. The story, of course, is sad on a number of levels, particularly the late 20th, early 21st century conceit of celebrity and the culture that circles it. While I need not confess my love for good to great gossip, there is an obvious line, and crossing it ruins the whole point.
