Carrie Prejean purportedly was told by Miss California pageant officials in May that she should do both I’m A Celebrity … Now Get Me Out of Here and Playboy, at least what the finally fired Prejean told TMZ.com late Wednesday. Carrie, who claims she heard of her dismissal only from the internets, says that “what’s behind this I think is a political debate. They don’t agree with the stance I took (on Prop 8). Shanna (Moakler) is trying to bash me.”
For her part, Shanna Moakler said “my faith has been restored in the Miss Universe Organization and with Donald Trump.” Moakler, who never met a fraudulent Christian she did not like, rightfully resigned her position as Miss California pageant director in May, after she stated at a press conference that Prejean failed significantly at fulfilling her contractual obligations as winner of the pageant, allegations that have now been authenticated, validating Moakler’s character and courage.
