Richard Avedon Retrospect, Ryan Phillippe, Chris Pine Poem, Ryan Kwanten, Martin Scorsese To Direct Sinatra Bio, Jonathan Ross Remains Offensive

The International Center of Photography in New York City opens a retrospective on the great American photographer Richard Avedon this Friday, May 15, which runs through till September 6th, and The New York Times offers an overview.

Hall of Fame DILF Ryan Phillippe, en route from Los Angeles to Cannes along side “girlfriend” Abbie Cornish, who stars in a new Jane Champion film Bright Star, in competition at this year’s film festival, Mr. Phillippe hidden behind a hat and sunglasses, scowling and skulking, and remaining so sexy.

Oh Chris Pine, you’re so fine, I wish you were mine, and when you grab your crotch, all I can do is to sit and watch.

The are several reasons to watch Alan Ball’s True Blood, central among them though is Ryan Kwanten, who thankfully, is, in character, in various stages of undress.

Variety is reporting that finally Martin Scorsese will be directing a film version of the life and times of Frank Sinatra, from a screenplay by Phil Alden Robinson. Casting has yet to be announced, by Leonardo DiCaprio’s name was bandied about for the lead, although if I were involved, I think I would ask James Franco to audition.

BBC radio employee Jonathan Ross last Saturday on air said “if your son asks for a Hannah Montana MP3 player, you might want to already think about putting him down for adoption before he brings, his, um, partner home.” Mr. Ross now feigns surprise that anyone would take that comment as being slightly homophobic, allegedly being “mortified” that his remark would be regarded as anything but, um, humorous.
