Our pollsters Quinnipiac University released a new study Thursday that found New York State equally divided on the issue of whether to legalize same-sex marriage in the state neatly along racial lines. The poll also showed a 2 to 1 margin in favor of civil unions, while it found 29% of those polled contend that sexual orientation is something chosen.
