District of Columbia Votes To Recognize Same-Sex Marriage, Gisele Bundchen Is Expecting, Mad Men Delay, Victoria Principal Pulls Gun On Maid

The District of Columbia city council Tuesday approved a measure that will recognize same-sex marriages preformed in other states by a 12-1 vote, the lone dissenting voice that of disgraced former D.C. mayor and cultural oddity Marion Barry, who has voted yes initially, but then realized what he was voting for, and asked to change his vote from yes to no. Yes, that’s right – he was not paying attention! As the vote was recorded, the authorities had to be called to restore order to the chambers, several pretend Christians evoking the end of time as witnessed by gays marrying. The measure now goes to Mayor Arian Fenty for signature, a Democrat who supports same-sex marriage.

Having called it weeks ago, it seems that now Gisele Bundchen needs to announce she is in fact pregnant, at least according to this report confirming what I posted earlier. The sticking point for Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brady is that she was pregnant before they couple married, and with Tom supposedly being a good Catholic boy, well, you know, it would all seem scandalous.

Mad Men, which began production Monday on the drama’s third season, announced that the always interesting Jared Harris is going to be appearing in a ten episode arc as Sterling Cooper's chief financial officer. That is the good news. The bad news is that the season’s air date has been pushed from July to August. Ugh!

Former Dallas star and skin care product line whore Victoria Principal one upped Naomi Campbell in the let us be abusive to our staff competition, Miss. Principal being sued by a former maid who claims Victoria pulled a gun on her because she took too long to walk Principal’s dog.
