Carrie Prejean Considered A Distraction, Kiefer Sutherland Claims Innocence, Heidi Klum Mock Marriage In A Proposition 8 Period, Cher, 100 Hot Women

Carrie Prejean, Miss California pageant official’s claim, betrayed her obligations and responsibilities, and they have taken the extraordinary step replacing her as a spokesperson for the organization, the first runner-up, regardless of what decision Donald Trump makes Tuesday. Surprisingly, the officials lashed out against Maggie Gallagher and the National Organization for Marriage, calling the anti-gay marriage group’s behavior “shameful.” The press conference this morning made clear that the anti-gay message Prejean proffers and has set as her agenda has compromised the pageant in a way that it might not recover from, saying that as Miss California, Carrie Prejean should speak for all Californians.

According to Kiefer Sutherland, via his attorney, he did nothing wrong when breaking the nose of fashion designer Jack McCollough, not a thing.

Seal and Heidi Klum – apparently nothing but time on their hands – renewed their wedding vows this weekend in Malibu, and the theme of the renewal ceremony was white trash. Seal sported a mullet, Heidi cornrows, and it all appeared like much fun. Some, however, have come out critical of the couple, saying the theme was borderline racist. Me; I was going to post about it Sunday, Heidi being Heidi and all, and then I thought at a time when an announcement is expected at any time from the California Supreme Court on the fate of Proposition 8 and millions of American gay men and women are fighting to earn the equal right to marry, why would you choose to stage a joke wedding, especially since a large part of your fan population is gay? Memo to Heidi: try thinking.

Cher, performing Friday night in Las Vegas, donned an almost identical to the black leather cut out body suit she wore nearly seventeen years ago at the age of forty-five, and while the choice to some may seem slightly questionable, it is Cher and Cher can do what Cher wants to do.

AfterEllen.com announces its annual Hot 100 Women, and tragically, Tina Fey dropped from her number one perch of 2008 to number seven, just below Rachel Maddow, who new to list, is number six.
